Andreas Mirow, Elmar Gans, and Tido Roder, in partnership with David Portas, founded Portas Consulting Brasil in Rio de Janeiro, a strategic consultancy initially focused on the sports and entertainment industry.
2013
The company rebrands itself as Mirow & Co. and quickly expands its focus to the pulp and paper industry, completing its first project in the sector. In this year, Mirow developed projects in 3 out of the 4 largest pulp and paper companies in Brazil.
2014
The quality and approach of Mirow & Co. began to generate referrals for new clients, resulting in the expansion of the team and client base, with more than 15 projects successfully completed. The pulp and paper sector emerges as the primary focus of Mirow’s strategy.
2015
Mirow opens its first workspace in São Paulo, marking the company’s official expansion beyond Rio de Janeiro.
2016
Mirow & Co. establishes its global partnership network with more than 7 partner companies and completes its first project in the automotive and energy industries.
2017
Mirow’s client base continues to expand, enabling the company to enhance its knowledge across various practices and industries, including pricing, innovation, organization, retail, and mining.
2018
A pivotal year for Mirow, as the company gains international recognition and receives its first awards: the Great Place to Work seal and the Seven to Watch ranking by Consulting Magazine. Furthermore, Mirow & Co. undergoes a brand renewal and inaugurates a new office in São Paulo.
2019
Our team surpasses 50 members! Mirow secures the Great Place to Work seal for the second consecutive year and is recognized by Consulting Magazine as one of the 20 fastest-growing consultancies globally between 2015 and 2018. Additionally, Mirow inaugurates its new office in Rio de Janeiro, situated in the Rio Sul tower.
2020
Mirow continues to expand its global network and secures the Great Place to Work seal for the third consecutive year. Additionally, Mirow assumes responsibility for the Secretariat and Administrative Layer of Open Banking in Brazil.
2021
We achieve the Great Place to Work seal for the fourth consecutive year! Mirow further strengthens its presence in the financial sector, carrying out projects that cover strategy, innovation, marketing, sales, and pricing.
